Floor Preparation & Removal
Nothing you install will be better than the surface underneath it. Preparation is the least visible part of the job and the part that decides the result.
We remove old flooring and adhesive residue, level and screed where the floor is out of true, and leave a clean, flat, dry base ready for tiles, wood, laminate or vinyl. This work can also be quoted on its own if another contractor is installing the finish.
Levelling, screeding and the removal of old flooring so the new surface sits flat and stays flat.

Common questions
- Can you do preparation only?
- Yes. If another contractor is laying the finish, we can quote for removal, levelling and preparation on its own.
- How do I know if my floor needs levelling?
- Visible dips, rocking furniture and gaps under a straight edge are the usual signs. We check with a level before quoting.
- Do you dispose of the old flooring?
- Yes, removal and disposal can be included. Tell us what is currently down so it is priced correctly.
